Deep ruby/violet color. Strong, Cabernet aromas of black cherry, anise, dark cocoa and tobacco are enhanced by a hint of sweet oak vanilla. Medium-full bodied, the flavors show fully ripe, sweet yet earthy Cabernet fruit with a hint of dusty minerality. Moderately firm acidity,
medium tannin and a touch of new oak vanilla highlight the fruit beautifully.Poised, yet potent flavors show greater depth and structure thanks to the long growing season and outstanding fall weather. Drink now or age 6-8 years. Serve with grilled lamb or steak, osso buco, roast duck or cheeses like Pecorino.
